Watkins Steel: Winner in Tekla BIM Awards
Watkins Steel is proud to be selected as a winner in the Tekla BIM Awards (Australia & New Zealand) in the Sports and Recreation Category for our Tekla model of the 2018 Commonwealth Games Athletes Village Architectural Arbour and Disc Structure.
Our success means we are now automatically entered into the 2018 Global BIM Awards, where we will be up against some tough competition from around the world.
The Architectural Arbour and Disc Structure is a signature feature of the 2018 Commonwealth Games Athletes Village on the Gold Coast. It is hoped it will become a centerpiece for the athletes as they share their experience with the world.
The project is due to be completed this month. For our latest update and photos click here.
